Merlin & Michelle
Had the pleasure of being in my friends Merlin and Michelle’s wedding this past week. It’s the first time I’ve been in a wedding party before which was quite the change for me since I’ve attended almost 15 weddings in the last few years as either a photographer or guest.
It felt so blessed to be included and we had a great time! I did however have a few struggles…
As an artist, I feel compelled to create. Every time I see something that inspires me I need to capture it. As a groomsmen though, I was fairly restricted in what I could photograph. I was told I couldn’t have my camera during the ceremony! (What nerve right?!) Understandable of course, but there were so many moments I saw that grabbed my attention, that I had to suppress my urge to grab my camera. I’m probably addicted…
Fortunately I had a few moments throughout the day where I could take pictures, and this post is a collection of those moments.
Thanks to the actual photographers of the wedding for being so awesome putting up with me!
